Announcing the Merger of Entegrus and St. Thomas Energy

After an effective consultation process, St. Thomas Energy has announced that they will be merging with Chatham-Kent based Entegrus Powerlines. Both companies are entering into the due diligence and final negotiation phase which will be followed by shareholder approval, with the goal of receiving final Ontario Energy Board approval in 2017.

Once approved, the merger will be finalized in January of 2018. In the meantime, it will be business as usual for both companies, dedicated to maintaining and continuously improving service to their respective communities.

A public consultation phase will occur in the first quarter of 2017.
